At Webtron we love making predictions and not so long ago Webtron director Alex Hill made a prediction that the flash platform would start making inroads into smart mobiles.



Presto set for October beta versions of Adobe Flash for the smart phone class will emerge. Interestingly enough for October only android, palm pre, windows mobile and symbian will be the only platforms utilizing the platform to begin with.

Rim and Apple noticeably missing, Apple claims to have battery life concerns and has put it back to adobe to come up with a solution.

It will be very interesting to watch adobe flash technology roll out across the smart phone class. As always these have a constant effect on capabilities of smart phones and sales.
