There are some very interesting battles looming in the world of heavy technology hitters...

If you believe what is getting around the media at the moment, Microsoft is being encouraged to invest in and or buy Yahoo search, reason being Google is running away at a rate of knots no one can stop. With Google’s market share around 92% in Australia and 75% globally I can see why the competitors are concerned. An investment like this will give Microsoft an instant increase in search market share, keep your eye on this one.

This fight is even more interesting as it involves Google revenue in Australia. And what happens in Australia could have an impact worldwide shortly after.

Australian heavy weight media rivals the REA group (News Ltd major shareholder) and Domain (Fairfax Newspapers) are threatening to pull their Google spend.  If Google don’t stop their
free real estate listing model they launched yesterday which extracts data from homebound.com.au and myhome.com.au. We are talking multi millions of dollars here, from what I have read it doesn’t look like Google are to fazed by all of this. It will be interesting to watch this play out also.
At the end of the day I find Google to be the most reliable and seamless service in market place with great products. The clients Webtron have implemented ad word campaigns to have taken each business to new heights of enquiry. There is no quicker way to get trafiic back to your website and have the phone ringing if properly implemented. You need two pronged strategy.

The first being a intellegent web design and the second we executed online web marketing
